I think I did this last holidays. Used airbrush (Badger 150) and transparent inks. I think it would have taken about 2 hours or a bit more, using a photo reference.
The size is A1, and I projected it, so it's not as impressive as it might seem. I'm not a huge fan of eminem, although I don't mind some of his stuff, this is actually for a friend. I tried to use a sponge to get the effect of the sweat and the skin texture on the face, but it didn't work as well as I had hoped. The photo I took actually cut off most of the border, and the scanner took care of the rest (along with most of my signature). I should be airbrushing portraits again this Christmas, so I might be submitting some of them here if I have time. I decided to enter this into the competition being run by  Details here [link] |
