I started this around the time episode III was being released in cinemas, and its been sitting half-finished since then. I figured it was about time I finish it, since I was more or less on top of my school work, and had nothing better to do.
This is the first A3 drawing that I've seen through to the end, so that's kind of satisfying. Done with charcoal, probably around 10 hours worth.
I had to put it together from two scans, so you can probably see some of my dodgy photoshop work through the middle.

Gorgeous pencil work!! I really love the negative drawing you did to render the stray hairs on his head. Very realistic looking portrait and I'd say that's pretty quick...only 10 hours. It would take me a lot longer for something like this. Beautiful work. I'm glad I am watching you so I didn't miss this!!
