It's about time I finished this. I hadn't done a portrait for a while, so I was drawing this in between studying for my exams a couple of weeks ago. It took a lot longer that I thought, probably around 15 hours, but it's hard to say, and was all done with my 0.7mm mechanical pencil (HB?). The paper's nothing special, just some A4 printer paper (80gsm). The face takes up about half of it.
It turned out to be quite challenging, and I still feel I should have put more effort into the hair in particular, but I just got sick of looking at it and just wanted it finished.

the number of guitars I need is represented by the variable N. The value of N is
defined by the relationship:
N = X + 1
where X = the number of guitars I own at any given time.
