This is pretty much done now. It took around six to seven hours all up using HB and 6B graphite pencils on A4 printer paper. I'll have to get some better paper as the shading picked up some of the paper texture on the background. I think this turned out pretty well, aside from the background, but it was fairly easy as far as portraits go, with most of it being either black or white, and the lack of hair made it easier too.
I think this one is going to cost me, I really should have been studying tonight....
Catwoman is copyright of DC comics, I suppose.

another fantastic piece ;) don't worry about the background - i think its a bonus - i was looking at it wondering how you managed to get that kind of background effect with your pencils (since the rest of the drawing looked smooth)

Its supposed to be Christina Ricci, I think it sort of looks like her.
She looks a bit younger in mine than she does in the reference for some reason

I was using my 6B pencil on an angle so it picked up all the ridgy bits. I think most of the rest I did using the HB.

Oops, I just realised the full view is really big, it took ages to load on my computer. Is it too big? I might re-submit it a bit smaller.
